Meanwhile at Gino's North

Got themselves some sparkling new bar stools in a rich dark burgundy leather motif. A smart omen of things to come.

And the Granville Anvil got themselves some newer used ones, functional, a tad seasoned, yet stunningly apropos and cunningly crafted to the character of the environs therein.

And the Anvil Smokers Lounge Al Fresco got stools. Of their condition, well, the less said, the better.

Well... unless its more well lit other times at the Anvil, the tasteful stools are better placed at Gino's where one could see that they're burgundy, *grin*

Most definitely, RG. Anvil inherited the old "Gino's" stools, I believe. Which works. And some of the older, tattered Anvil stools are now on the patio, where Gunga and friends can meet to send smoke signals into Granville Avenue's cold, crisp air . . .

So the new year non-smoking has not been a success then, guys?

Anyone know what time the Super Bowl festivities get underway at Gino's?

Val, I have not been smoking at all. I slipped ONCE and had a ciggie the Saturday after New Year's. But other than that, I stuck with the nicotine gum, and now I have switched over to regular gum. The nicotine cravings are gone, but I still get a psychological craving, once in a great while. When I see other people smoking and enjoying it. But so far, so good. It will be 4 weeks tomorrow . . . smoke free Snark! Of course, if Vincent offered me a ciggie . . .
