Anyone willing to admit to having small feet / The rug goth in action

This was just tossed aside in the middle of an alley... it wasn't even in a receptacle. Its already being worked into my latest plastic bag rug. The orange works great next to the "Chicago tribune bags" blue.

I found these in a treasure trove left behind by someone moving out nearby. This is the first time in my life I wish my feet were smaller! But I've not been able to wear size 7s since about 3rd grade!

So if any of you local folk have feet this size, get in touch with me! Otherwise, I'll donate it them to a worthy charity. But charity begins at home, so if one of my amigos or amigas could use these... they're yours!

Recycling can be beautiful / Any of you GG's need a chair or a pair of men's black 12/13s?

These are my latest surplus "landfill liberations." (I usually just get stuff for my rugs, but when I see really good stuff... it just hurts my heart to see it go to a landfill when people could use and do need such things... I so wish we had a commune like setup up here on the far north side of Chicago where people could bring items to donate, and claim things they need. I've heard of such in San Fran, so...)

The chair is a nice waiting room style chair, curved back, teal cushions (which are a bit stained, but could easily be cleaned or covered.)

No election news from me yet... was supposed to have Spanish today, and did, but I lay down to help cuddle some of Tess' pain away, and just surfaced, but not very... this is 2nd time in 3 days my body's just said "That's it laddie, no more for you!"

How recycling can be beautiful

This rug = 20 to 30 pound of clothes which would have gone into a landfill and just sat there for what... 200 years, 300 years... eternity?

Click for larger version... and its now a couple of inches larger... will make it up to 26" or so, or how ever large my buyer wants it to be
