I, too, am giving up the smokes...and going on the wagon for a month!!! Been drinking too much over the past few days and smoking, too.
Won't be an issue in the bar, as the tempation to smoke won't be there since nobody else is, but Betty's taking a break from the booze too before she shits her liver out!!!
Waaaaaaaaaaahhh! I will MISS you on Friday nights, my dear! LOL. But good luck with the resolution. And don't forget to call me about lunch . . . an "alcohol-free" lunch, of course.
Oh honey...I'll still be coming out to the bar, because Bob certainly isn't giving up hooch for the month!!! I just have to give my body a chance to heal, I've determined. Let's definitely get together for lunch sometime, too. I take my lunch hour between 1:00 and 2:00.
I can't imagine what it's going to be like to walk into a smokefree Anvil, though!!!
I'm waiting for Frankie to announce a "cleaning party" by all the staff for the new year. Last time I scrubbed down the walls . . . the nicotine washed off was unbelievable . . .

Who needs the patch when you can just stick your hand in that cleaning water.
