Bush's BFF John Howard

Joins Bush's other BFF Tony Blair by going down, down under.

Not only did his party loose it's majority, and with it he, his position as Prime Minister, but he also lost his very own seat in the Aussie Parliament. I gather that this is very unusual in a parliamentary system. (Val, help here!)

I weep with joy as he was also a Rovian styled gay-basher, protecting family's from the pernicious menace of gay marriage.

Buh Bye!!

Yes, it is unusual. There are two safeguards. You give your stars safe seats, so the opposition is unlikely to win against them. And you generally choose leaders of parties (ie. potential Prime Ministers) from among people who have a good majority. (Pauses to laugh as cat snores loudly from across the room.)

Thanks, Val. I suspected this loss should be categorized as a devasting abject refutation.

And your cat made me spit up my coffee. A snoring cat would make one heck of a YouTube.

We already have a snoring turkey for a president . . . I think it only fair we get to see a snoring kitty!
