I love listening to this man even when I disagree. This time I don't,

Now my darling, you know we talked about respecting others opinions even when we don't agree with them. Rev. Falwell does deserve our love and respect in his passing.

haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa...

Okay...I know I'm pushing it. :-) Raised a good Catholic girl, I can honestly say I never encountered bias or "hate speak" while attending religious education classes but thankfully, I haven't encountered a backward blowhard like the "good" Rev.
I will always respect, with a grain of salt, someone's right to believe in and/or speak of whatever they wish. But Hutchens is dead on when he said Falwell was a hypocrite.

Falwell's "faith" was used as a badge of superiority over the "non-believers". It's shameful. Especially to those who use their faith to BOOST society and their own communities as a whole. Falwell used his beliefs, as trite as they may seem, instead to bring society down and to keep it down.

In closing..."God's punishment" wasn't 9/11.
God's punishment is Ashlee Simpson having a musical career. :)
