The Madison Chautauqua 2010 Greenman

Had a blast at the Madison Chautauqua Festival of Art 2010 with Kerry's friends and family down on the shimmering Ohio River in beautiful old Madison, Indiana. The weather was as good as it gets; the people as friendly as ever (as they always are down in those southern river towns).

I picked up this very unique Green Man. I had a nice chat with the pottery artist's husband, Rich Robertson. (The artist Liz was off on break.) He explained that his wife developed the multi-piece impression technique while pregnant and unable to deal with a pottery wheel. I've never seen anything quite like it, and am trying to determine where to hang it. Anyway, here's a shout-out to Cricket Hill Pottery.

You might want to consult with Miss Kitty regarding the perfect place to hang it. LOL

It's lovely. Not very green, though - rather pink, I'd have said...

(I know, I know)

There is pink but it is a springish green man; the fault is mine as photographer, 'cos there is a light green on the leaves.
