On MSNBC. It's not news; its a freak show. Caught it last night during a bout of insomnia when everything else on TV was Infomercials.
Boris woke up and sez: "It's too close to entrapment".
Gunga sez, imitating IM: "Hi, there. I'm twelve years old and I like American Girl dolls, Hannah Montana, and, oh, I can suck the chrome off a tail pipe".
Boris sez: "or 'I can suck an egg through a garden hose'"...
Gunga: "Without breaking its shell".

It's nice to know that you two use MSNBC primarily for entertainment value . . . heh-heh.
I have no idea what you are talking about!
Hey Val. MSNBC is a competitor to CNN, a 24 hours "news" channel. Only they ain't got enuf so they put on this show where the "catch" online child predatators by pretending to be underage girls and boys on-line; lure them over to some house somewhere; and swoop in with cops and camera's. It's completely seedy and not "news".
My little IM (Instant Message) is what I imagine they use as the on-line come-on message from the child/victim/bait to lure in the predator.
I agree...no matter how scummy the 'predators' may be as human beings, they have really committed no crime, because they were never really talking to a minor anyway! It's entrapment and it's seedy and sensationalist. South Park actually did a good job one epidsode ripping on this show and Chris Hanson, portraying him as a smarmy dousche out for ratings. This tripe and it ringleader, Chris Hanson, are as much about real journalism as Jerry Springer!!!
Ew, sounds more-than-tacky.
Luckily we don't have anything so awful over here.
Give it time, Val . . . give it time . . .
