To lurk and comment before heading to the beach.
I got home last night and it was 54 degrees F. Woke up this morning and it was 15 degrees. If I had a camera I would also head to the beach and take pictures of the mounds of ice I now imagine are piling up on our shores of old Lake Michigan

And I must venture out into Chicago's biting winds today. I'm way overdue for an afternoon of household shopping at Target. And just before Christmas Eve, too. Oh, why did I procrastinate!?!? Boris, enjoy the warmth while you can. For soon, very soon, you will be trading in that lovely, summery outfit for an equally attractive parka and some long underwear.
