Can I just use this venue as a way of getting off my chest the fact that I am sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo sick of Grandpa Munster McSame??? His bullshit line, "My Freiends, my friends, my friends..." BULLSHIT!!! He is not my friend, he's not your friend, he's not our friend! He's a bitter old, ego driven prick who so badly wants to be President that he would sell his soul to the Devil himself...if Jerry Falwell and the religious right didn't serve as adaquate stand-in for the Prince of Darkness as it was!
He doesn't care about this country and he doesn't give a shit how we're going to be led out of this mess that he, his current President, his dead idol Ronald 'I-don't-remember-that' Reagan and almost 20 years of GOP domination, spending and deregulation has taken this country!
The country could go in flames tomorrow, and McSame would still think, 'better to rule in hell than serve in heaven!' Or in other words, "I'm the POTUS and I still have my 9 houses, 13 cars and now I'm living on the tax-payer's dole as I have all my life, but now I'm living in the White House!!!"
McCain would be the ultimate swan song for a nation destroyed by the greed, avarcice and indifference of a continuing line of rich, old white men who have more in common with their country club CEOs than they do the 'Joe Six Pack' whom the beast from Wasilla is trying to lure with a wink and a phoney smile, which reminds me more of a night at a strip joint dancer (Yes, even I went to those) then a serious contender for Vice President!
Obama, on the other hand, is making history and you better damn well believe that he does care what kind of an America he leaves behind at the end of his administration, be it 4 or 8 years! The burden on him, as a black man, is more than the limited expecations of a doddering old fool like McCain, who'll probably see Jesus before 3rd State of the Union Address!

After the debate, when the analysts were doing there thing, I recalled that the one thing that stood out most about the debate, for me, was how John McCain speaks as if he is addressing a class of third graders, versus Obama, who speaks as if he is addressing adults. McCain is so damned condescending in his delivery, no wonder the debate was seen by most as a win for Obama. And I was, admittedly, a bit disappointed that we never got to see McCain's head explode. His "team" must have him on some serious meds ...
