I am so sorry.
I just felt like someone owed you all an apology. As a member of the legal community, I REALLY thought the California Supreme Court might get this one right. The 9th circuit is the most liberal in the country, but it must be an election year out there or something. While I was happy they did not nullify the 18,000 gay marriages, I almost felt like it was a slap in the face. It was a lame, limp wristed, sweaty palm, half-hearted, non-gesture move on their part. It was almost like a cap on gay marriages. It won't solve the problem or make it any better, but I just felt an overwhelming need to say, I am sorry.

I don't know the details, but I did hear they hadn't done the right thing.
I always think that those who do protest too much are closet gays. I said that to a judo teacher once, and you've never heard anyone stop their homophobic comments faster!
This ruling was expected but still a kick in the ass, there will come a day when the country will be appalled at this discrimination. I guess we are
4/5 citizen's. Wonder if I can pay 4/5taxes.
Yes, I was disappointed, but not surprised. Would love to see this make it to THEE Supreme Court ...
They were pussies, Catie...afraid of a recall and losing their jobs! Shame on them...and it will follow them.
